Weekly outdoor marketss: Mondays in Torroella de Montgrí, Tuesdays in Palamós, fridays in La Bisbal d’Empordà and Sundays in Palafrugell.
Lonja de Palamós: fish auctions held from Monday to Friday at 5:00 p.m.
Calella de Palafrugell: the Costa Brava town whose beachfront area is best conserved. Also known for its festival of habaneras (sea shanties) which is held on the first Saturday of July.
S’Alguer: Truly charming seaside town that can only be entered on foot.
Les Gavarres: fantastic forests with holm oak, cork oak and pine trees, as well as farm houses scattered throughout this extensive mountain mass.
